The Citizens Council for the Arts (CCA) is a nonprofit group formed of over 500 volunteers to encourage, promote, and support the arts in the community.

We sponsor community arts projects such as ArtShop, Art-in-the-Schools, and The Corner Gallery at North Idaho College. We are Co-sponsors of The Spokane Symphony and "Symfunnies". In addition, we make annual donations of art work to North Idaho College, public buildings, and local schools.

And we create, produce, and support Art on The Green!

Where Does All the Money Go?

The proceeds earned from Art on the Green are used to support the following projects:

Art-in-the-Schools
$10,000 matched by all schools in Kootenai County who participate in the program. Area artists are selected to design and execute curriculum compatible art projects for classrooms K-12.
